25 SketchUp Shortcut its going to change your design process.

We all know, time is a very valuable thing (and money)


As a mother of two girls under 5, a house, a company, social life and all, I don't have much time to waste, just like you.

I'm addicted to everything that makes my life easier and my tasks faster.


This would not be different in my workflow processes.


As we already know SketchUp is a powerful 3D modeling software used in various industries, including architecture, interior design, and engineering, but to speed it up even more my design process and gain time I use shortcut for everything possible within the program.


At first you will see that it is strange and you will have to memorize the commands, but don't panic or give up, because like everything else, it's just a matter of time and I can guarantee that without realizing it, you'll already be mastering all the commands at your fingertips... literally.


Here are some commands for you to start streamlining your drawing process.


SketchUp is a powerful 3D modeling software used in various industries, including architecture, interior design, and engineering. Here are some commonly used keyboard shortcuts in SketchUp to improve your workflow:

  1. Select Tool: Spacebar

  2. Eraser Tool: E

  3. Line Tool: L

  4. Rectangle Tool: R

  5. Circle Tool: C

  6. Move Tool: M

  7. Rotate Tool: Q

  8. Scale Tool: S

  9. Push/Pull Tool: P

  10. Orbit Tool: O

  11. Pan Tool: H

  12. Zoom Tool: Z

  13. Tape Measure Tool: T

  14. Paint Bucket Tool: B

  15. Follow Me Tool: F

  16. Offset Tool: O

  17. Zoom Extents: Shift + Z

  18. Hide Selected: H
